Holiday 2011 Favorites - Part 2

Back again with more of our top picks for the 2011 season of holiday cards galore. See below for some other uniquely creative favorites we just couldn't leave out!

What an amazing idea - celebratory plaid for Christmas! The texture of this card with the letterpress plaid felt incredible, and the bright colors (not to mention the fantastic matching outfits and smiling faces), made this a real winner in our eyes!

Another card where the family and their card come together seamlessly - this time with magnificent colors! Deep purple creates a real graphic pop, and the custom hand-painted red border adds a cheery, unexpected contrast.

A classic black and white photo takes front and center amidst gorgeous hand drawn embellishments that add a traditional and ornate touch to a modern black, white and red layout. Hope, peace and love really are the themes of the perfect season!

Favorites of 2011 Holiday Cards - Part 1!

The holidays have come and gone with a whirlwind here in the Pickett's Press office. After months of planning, designing, pasting, packaging and posting many wonderful cards to amazing locations, we wanted to take a few seconds to share with all of you some of our favorite holiday cards from 2011. Enjoy!

This elegant grey letterpress card is by far one of the most adored by the 2011 Pickett's Press season! Not only do the colors and the photo make it a beautiful graphic statement, but the message and the little girl really do represent the special meaning of the holiday season perfectly!

Everything about this little girl surrounded by cascading hearts just screams customized cute to us! With such a great photo to work from, it was a sweet touch to be able to pantone match her sweater to the graphics and add a "heartfelt" hot pink twist to the traditional red and green holiday card.

These two cutie pies in their festive red round out a fabulously joyous holiday greeting! With lyrics from The Sound of Music (to match the family's Swiss address) on a cream background with gorgeous gold presents and edge painting, the Christmas spirit is represented for all to see on this lovely card.

Voltz Clarke LLC is an independent company spearheaded by Southern
entrepreneur Blair Clarke. Focusing on the exposure of contemporary artists
through private consulting and public exhibitions, the company has a
particular emphasis on introducing international artists to the US market.
Clarke's experience combines over nine years of East coast gallery
associations, curatorial projects and a consulting relationship with Sanford
L. Smith & Associates.

Voltz Clarke maintains a roster of international artists whose works are
available to view online and by appointment. Clarke who loves to travel
believes that one should cast the net wide in order to identify new talent.
